Almost 8 months

Next week, Sydney will be 8 months old. It's HARD to believe, but true. I now understand all of the people's comments: "Treasure these moments, it will go by in a flash." "She'll be driving before you know it." "Hold her as much as you can because soon she will be too big to hold."

Yep, time is a flying, but life with Syd is getting more exciting. Latest accomplishments:

She can walk behind a push toy and squeals uncontrollably. The toy was a great find at the JBF sale in Conroe. BRAND NEW and I got it for $7.

If you say, "Kissy, kissy" to her she will lean into your cheek, open and her mouth, and do the "blowfish" kisses. It is the most adorable thing ever.

Syd will sing along with me when I play piano. She even "sings" on key.

Sydney gets very excited when sees a familiar face. At church yesterday, she saw my mom and dad on the row behind us and tried to jump out of my arms to go see them.

When she is frustrated, she will shake her head, close her eyes, and make a sound that I can only compare with a horse snuffle. Hilarious.

She can say, "Beep, beep", "hunya" and her most clearly spoken word is "hi!" She tells EVERYBODY "hi." Even the little old lady in the restroom at JoAnn's Fabrics got a big "hi" when she walked in.

She recognizes herself in the mirror and flirts with her reflection. She keeps us on our toes, laughing, and smiling.
